Students Represent MHS at MLK Day of Service

IMG_0052Melrose High School Students were well-represented at the MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 16th.  The MHS Do the Right Thing Club ran an event at the Unitarian Univeralist Church aimed at teaching young children about Martin Luther King Jr., civil rights, and the legacy of the movement.  The group read stories to the children, participated in coloring activities, and provided every student with a grab bag of candy, stickers, and an inspiring quote about civil rights.
