ATTENTION ALL TRIVIA ENTHUSIASTS

This year's Trivia Bee, to benefit The Bridge: A School/Community Partnership will take place at Memorial Hall on Saturday, March 27, at 7:00 PM. The Bee is an annual, Melrose event, at which teams representing schools, city government, businesses of all types, professional offices, civic groups, non-profit organizations and private citizens pit their wits to discover which group knows the greatest amount of useless and semi-useless information.

Five to six teams, each consisting of three participants, compete in preliminary rounds, answering the same question. The winner of each round goes on to compete in the championship round. The members of each team have time to confer on every answer.

Since this is a serious evening of fun and frivolity, we still encourage clever team names, funny costumes and serious competition for the title of Trivia Champs of Melrose for 2010.

This fund raising event is sponsored in part by East Boston Savings Bank with additional help from Eastern Bank.
