MVMMS Supply List

Classroom Supplies

Teachers have requested the following items for general classroom use throughout the year. These items can be given to any teacher on your student’s schedule. 

  • (2) Boxes of tissues

  • (1) Container of wipes

  • (2) Rolls of paper towels

6th Grade Supplies

  • Pencil Case or Pouch with the following items inside:

    • Markers

    • Colored pencils

    • Pencils

    • Blue or black pens

    • Highlighters (package of 4 or more assorted colors)

    • Clear Tape

    • 2 Glue sticks

    • Small hand held sharpener

    • (1) Package of reinforced lined paper

  • Headphones that plug into the computer

  • Chromebook and charger

Math Supplies

  • 2 pocket YELLOW folder

  • Dry erase markers (package of 3 or more)

  • optional : eraser for dry erase board

  • 3 subject notebook

English Supplies

  • 2 pocket RED folder

  • Composition notebook

Ancient World History Supplies

  • 2 pocket BLUE folder

Science Supplies

  • 2 pocket GREEN folder

7th Grade Supplies

  • Pencil Case or Pouch with the following items inside:

    • Markers

    • Colored pencils

    • Pencils

    • Blue or black pens

    • Highlighters (package of 4 or more assorted colors)

    • Clear Tape

    • 2 Glue sticks (you will need more for science)

    • Small hand held sharpener

  • Headphones that plug into the computer

  • Chromebook and charger

Math Supplies

  • 1-inch or 1.5 inch, three ring binder FOR MATH ONLY The “Better” binders from Staples are recommended because they have “survived” better in the past.  

  • Calculator FOR MATH AND SCIENCE ** Basic calculator with a square root and percent key.  ** Label the calculator with your name.

  • About 50 pages of loose leaf white lines paper or graph paper

English Supplies

  • 1 ½ inch, three ring binder FOR ENGLISH ONLY- divided into 2 sections OR a two-subject notebook

  • One two-pocket folder labeled “English” with your name

  • Multicolored mini-Post-its for annotating books

World History Supplies

  • 1-inch, three ring binder 

  • Loose leaf paper

Science Supplies

  • Three composition (black and white) notebooks (one for each trimester)

  • One two-pocket folder

  • Markers (for posters)

  • Additional glue sticks and/or rolls of tape throughout the year

8th Grade Supplies

  • Pencil Case or Pouch with the following items inside:

    • Markers

    • Colored pencils

    • Pencils

    • Blue or black pens

    • Highlighters (package of 4 or more assorted colors)

    • White Out

    • 2 Glue sticks

    • Small hand held sharpener

  • Headphones that plug into the computer

  • Chromebook and charger

Math Supplies

  • 1 to 1.5 inch binder

  • Lined/graph paper

  • Scientific calculator (optional)

English Supplies

  • Notebook with lined paper with perforated edges (A and B Team)

  • Composition notebook (C Team Only)

  • Folder

  • Post-it notes

  • Independent reading book

Civics Supplies

  • 1 composition notebook

  • 1 pocket folder

  • 2 black sharpie markers
