Our Junior Golf Program at Mt Hood is the perfect opportunity for kids ages 8-12 to build a strong foundation in golf while having a blast. Whether your child is new to the game or looking to refine their swing, this program offers the perfect mix of fun and skill development.
Each session is designed to introduce essential golfing techniques like grip, stance, and swing.Plus, kids will get to play virtual courses and compete in fun golf games using the state-of-the-art Trackman Golf Simulator. Its the ideal way to experience the game in an exciting, interactive environment that will make them eager to hit the course when the weather warms up!

The Melrose Recreation Department is thrilled to announce another exciting season of Melrose Youth Basketball! We will offer multiple leagues for grades K–8. Detailed information about each league is available on the Recreation Department website. There will be no tryouts or evaluations—everyone who registers will be placed on a team.
Our leagues provide families with a quality and affordable basketball program for the entire community. We prioritize sportsmanship, teamwork, skill development, and equal playing time for all participants. No prior experience is necessary to join a team.
